Piotr Więcek wins Extreme Drift Allstars in Estonia
Piotr Więcek overcame a crash in qualifying to claim his first Extreme Drift Allstars win of the season thanks to a dominant performance at the Estonian GP.
The Polish driver hit the wall on his second qualifying run in Tallinn and faced an overnight race to get his car ready for finals day.
However, he didn’t hold back in the crucial battles and beat Australian Extreme Ambassador Luke Fink in the semi-finals before seeing off Latvia's Janis Eglite in the final.
The technically demanding and unforgiving course at Taitse Rally Park made for another epic weekend of drifting which blew the race for the championship wide open.
After Eglite beat standings leader James Deane in the semi-finals the pair are both in with a chance of lifting the overall title with just two rounds remaining.
The tour next rolls into the city of Kaunas, Lithuania where the drivers will compete on a custom built street circuit. Don’t miss it LIVE on Extreme.com on 30th August.
