The film is about, how a young surfer looks at the sport in his local environment, Portugal.
Our character is the under 14 national championshow more 2011,Guilherme Fonseca, and the film represents his will and his inspiration to become a pro surfers, by looking up at the older generations.
I shoot Tiago Pieres, which is the only Portuguese in the Word Champion Tour ( WCT), Aritz Aranburu, Spanish Pro surfer and former WCT athlete, and spanish pro surfer Indar Unanue.
I also shoot some Portuguese surf references, such as Francisco Canelas, Edgar Nozes, Pedro Booman.
While editing, i discovered " shot yourself in the foot again" ft Skream. This track represents and suits the mood for this project, its modern, urban, energetic , perfect for surf.
