It has been a couple of weeks since Cedric broke his hip after crashing hard while practising for the Val Di Sole round of theshow more World Cup, but Cedric is in good spirits as he awaits surgery back in France.
Cedric is of course hospitalised, but has at least been moved from hospital in Trento to Toulouse ahead of surgery on Friday.
Cedric lost some blood in the aftermath of the training crash and he’s had several blood transfusions since then to make sure he is well enough for the surgery on his pelvis.
“If everything goes according to plan, I should make enough blood until the surgery,” says Cedric.
