DC Shoes UK Opens New Skate-able Showroom

DC Shoes has officially opened their refurbished Newquay showroom that brings the brand back to its roots… A few months ago, DC shoes temporarily shut their Newquay based showroom to give it a lick of paint and some ‘upgraded features’.

The grand reopening revealed a 150m2 space complete with, not only your usual work related amenities, but also a custom-built skate bowl! This new showroom for DC Shoes in the UK perfectly combines work and play, keeping true to the brands roots. Immersed by skate, the unique office environment displays DC’s upcoming collections; footwear, menswear, womenswear and kids product, around a perfectly formed bowl that visitors are welcome to shred.

With wholesale clients and media expected to frequent the office throughout the season for meetings, appointments and to skate, DC takes the term ‘board meeting’ to a whole new meaning! Yesterday, as word of the bowl spread, the secret didn’t last long and skaters from all over the U.K. were invited to exclusively test it out, including DC team riders, Sam Pulley and Dave Snaddon who skated until lights out. Instagram was buzzing as the urban myth of the DC UK bowl came to life…

This new office is the second showroom announcement for the brand this year, after the recent relocation of DC’s UK headquarters to the Truman Brewery in East London. Now with two fresh new environments and two new bases, the brand is anticipating exciting times ahead.
